Job Summary
We are a growing residential/commercial contractor known for high-quality craftsmanship and a solid pipeline of year-round work. We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team. You will handle projects from rough framing to finish carpentry. The ideal candidate works safely, reads blueprints, and delivers high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and sketches to determine project needs.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials.
- Build framework like walls, floors, and roofs.
- Install items like doors, windows, trim and cabinets.
- Operate standard hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional carpentry experience.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Proficient with layout, framing, and finish trim work.
- Strong math skills for accurate layout and cutting.
- Self-motivated, multi-task person with the ability to lead & communicate well.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transit.
